	Welcome! My name is Dr. Richard Steckler. I appreciate that you are taking the time to visit our website. We are located in Jupiter, Florida, just north of Palm Beach. Please allow me to tell you about Cosmetic Dental Arts of Jupiter and how we can meet both your restorative and cosmetic dental needs. Having practiced in the Jupiter area for over 20 years, I have assembled a team of enthusiastic professionals who are dedicated to providing the best in dental care while making the patient as comfortable and secure as possible. From the extensive new patient exam to the individually designed hygiene visits and all aspects of restorative dentistry, our time is scheduled to provide each patient with the best care possible. Although a sound base of preventative and restorative dental care is primary in our practice, over the years I have established a special interest in offering my patients the finest in cosmetic dentistry as well.To this end I have elected to study with the renowned Rosenthal Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as taking hundreds of hours of advanced education with premier experts in all aspects of the cosmetic and restorative dental fields. Consequently, many people travel from around the country for our superb veneers, crowns, bridgework, and now our mini implant procedures. 	Mini-Dental Implant The “MDI”(Mini Dental Implant) system was first used to provide stability and retention of lower dentures. Lower dentures have always been a problem, due to poor retention the denture would never stay in place leading to problems eating, speaking, etc. Placement of the mini implants is accomplished quickly and easily with local anesthesia. The minis are placed using a precise, controlled, minimally invasive surgical technique. The mini-dental implants provide a strong, solid foundation for securing dentures, bridgework, and crowns. This is performed in one visit.

	Bridgework Bridges are an effective way to replace a missing tooth. A bridge consists of a replacement crown attached to two other crowns that can slip over the teeth adjacent to the gap.
